Destiny has given us a villa nestling in the Var hinterland, somewhere near the Maures plain, the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, not far from the Verdon or the Mediterranean: rosé vines, olive groves, lavender fields, the scent of figs, “secret passageways, black paths (that) trace the memory of a pedestrian France, the network of an ancient peasant country *” but also mining, with open-air quarries and railway lines transformed into a friendly network of cycle paths.

These Provençal lands, a natural museum where the curious can discover the traces left by the Romans, the Templars and other Cistercian monks, are a prude country that reveals its secrets only to those who take things slowly.

Come and share our passion for this Dessaline-style country, aimed above all at lovers of walking and cycling, those for whom the folds of a network of roads and paths travelled at man’s speed are a delight.

We offer you a 4-bedroom villa that can accommodate up to 9 people. The features described below have been designed for a well-deserved rest between friends after a long outing.

We’d like to suggest a few walks, the sole purpose of which is to introduce you to this Provençal world. Your contributions, as well as ours, will enrich this catalogue of shared walks for a community that will grow up around this villa.
